It really pictures the life of an eleven year-old, named Olivia, who had to let her mother go because she was ill.It is a different approach to reading about these illnesses as you look at it from a young girl's point of view who has to watch as other people suffer. It was really inspiring as well with the theme of the diaries and photographs, being someone who also keeps a diary and loves using photos as well to express nice themes and what not! This book was breath-taking, written in a way that left the reader not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
