It's refreshing but intense, with a strong smell of sea breeze, sea salt and wet wood dried in the sun on the beach. L’Eau Super Majeure opens up with a classic aromatic and citrus accord. It starts with rosemary, which dissipates is replaced by clary sage, following lime and some very fresh basil. Heart Notes Once you get into the base, you will notice that the cashmeran persists until tonka bean accompanies it, which adds a gourmand essence to the amber-wool accord. Additionally, there are also hints of guaiacwood and vanilla. Guaiacwood is a musky note with a pipe tobacco essence, which is softened by the vanilla. A playful citrusy sweetness, but without the Italoesque cestiness. A bit more natural in the sense of herbaceous. Which is probably due to sage and rosemary. Spring flowers merely as a reminiscence by the vanilla rounded.
So it may well or unfortunately also Issey Miyake's predecessor, as well as the flanker L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey fare. Certain flavors require complementary experience, as well as a penchant for peculiar aromas (no, not those of urinal stones). This fragrance reminds me of my childhood, when we walked along the shore of the beach and played in the boats that were on the sand... So for me, the purpose of the fragrance is perfectly accomplished. Here, too, the futuristic technical theme is maintained in the proven synthetic aesthetics of a laboratory fragrance. Chemistry is in the air and this can have a pleasant atmosphere of an antique pharmacy. Thus, the Flanker is also true to its sci-fi cyberpunk genre with naturalistic and ancient elements in the spirit of Issey Miyake and the Japanese philosophy of duality. With regards to men, nobody was overly enamoured by it. Nevertheless, men above their thirties as well seemed to enjoy this fragrance overall. Longevity & Sillage: Very solid in both cases; heat, humidity and perspiration can vary greatly the behavior of any perfume - especially in summer -, but it has a great performance.
The perfume's longevity is impressive. It lingers on the skin for a considerable amount of time, making it a reliable choice for an active day. The sillage is also notable, not too invasive, but enough to establish a presence.
Overall, l’Eau Super Majeure d’Issey seems to perform reasonably well. While it’s longevity only persists for a few hours, it offers decent sillage and projection during that time. Somebody said that it was clean aquatic and very herbaceous and they quite liked it. Meanwhile, somebody said, that they feel like they’ve smelt it before, but they enjoyed wearing it anyway. L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey by Issey Miyake is a perfume that attempts to capture the essence of a salty ocean breeze with a hint of masculine warmth. Released in 2018, it's a scent that leans towards the mature man, seeking to convey a sense of seasoned confidence. And finally, the masculinity on this isn’t overbearing. This is a fragrance with a nice general bouquet. It’s not cloying in any way. It’s not too virile, as the term goes, nor is it too mild. It’s a nice middle of the road fragrance.

Meanwhile,this is definitely a daytime fragrance. That being said, I think it would be quite pleasant worn in the early evening as the sun goes down, in the height of summer. After all, this is primarily a summer fragrance that could potentially be worn in late spring and early autumn.
